Ultimate Packaging embraces YRG Group’s latest Esko Crystal plate technology for the new Yushoi Pea Snaps range.
Recently, YRG worked closely with packaging manufacturer, Ultimate Packaging to produce Flexo HD plates for the new Yushoi pea snap range using the Esko Crystal 5080 XPS technology.
Using the Esko Crystal technology, allowed us to generate rich blacks in addition to a vibrant, contrast in color. The plates where exposed on the XPS using LED UV lights, creating a perfect flat surface thus ensuring the microcells had maximum effectiveness. The relief of the image area was perfectly consistent due to using the inline back exposure.
With a much better ink release, the results are clear to see. In turn, much higher densities and a wide color gamut with strong colors. Rich blacks were also very high, which was particularly beneficial for this range of packaging.
